Hormones of the body are constantly fluctuating with mare's cycles. Supporting their cycles and reproductive system is important for keeping them comfortable and helping with fertility issues. 

In TCM the kidneys govern reproduction, growth and development, and fluids of the body(including joint fluid and sperm). The liver stores and regulates the blood or Qi. The liver having stagnation or blockage can lead to lack of blood supply to the uterus creating cramps or pain. The kidneys are first looked at in TCM with hormone imbalance or fertility issues.
