Our manufacturer has established a comprehensive, digitized traceability platform that tracks every step of the production process, from seed selection to the final packaged product. This system not only reduces risk and error, but also ensures full transparency for every batch.

Vertical Quality Control: From Soil to Formula

✅ Premium Seed Selection

Our manufacturer collaborates with China Pharmaceutical University to develop and select high-efficacy, disease-resistant seed varieties. This addresses the common problem of potency loss over multiple planting cycles, ensuring stronger, more active herbs.

✅ Geo-Authentic Farming

Herbs are cultivated on Good Agricultural and Collection Practice (GACP) certified farms in their native growing regions, using seasonal harvesting methods to maximize potency. Raw herbs are always used fresh and are never sulfur-treated, a common issue in the open market.

✅ Rigorous Raw Material Sourcing

Our raw herbs come from over 320 farms across 22 provinces, including 110 company-owned GACP-certified farms. Many herbs are either wildcrafted or grown in their classical origins. Only materials that pass extensive screening — including for heavy metals, pesticides, microbial load, and sulfur dioxide — are accepted.

Traditional Processing with Modern Precision

Pao Zhi (Traditional Processing)

Our manufacturer upholds centuries-old TCM processing techniques (Pao Zhi), such as stir-frying with liquid adjuvants, steaming, fermenting, and germinating. Each method is validated through modern studies to ensure maximum effectiveness and safety. Particle size and extraction ratios are strictly controlled for consistency.

Water-Based, Full-Spectrum Extraction

Only purified water is used in the extraction process, never chemical solvents, mimicking traditional decoction methods while optimizing temperature, timing, and pressure. This preserves the herb’s original character and full spectrum of active compounds.

State-of-the-Art Manufacturing

Our manufactureroperates a CFDA-certified Pharmaceutical GMP facility with ISO Class 6 cleanrooms. A five-level quality control system covers over 100 checkpoints throughout the production process, from raw material intake to finished packaging.

Digital monitoring systems control key variables like decoction time, temperature, water levels, drying, and extract concentration, ensuring each batch is consistent and effective.

Every product undergoes multi-stage testing, including:

Every batch of raw material and finished product is retained for traceability. If there’s ever a quality concern, records can be traced back through our manufacturer digital warehouse and tracking system,  from field data and production logs to third-party lab results.

And through our U.S. distributor’s barcoding system, all herbs distributed by ActivateQi are linked to this traceability network, providing unmatched quality assurance from field to shelf.
