Cold causes weak digestion leading to excess liquids in the stomach, dampness and phlegm. When these fluids accumulate they start to ascend upwards and you see symptoms like acid reflux or vomiting.

This formula nourishes and tonifies the Stomach/Spleen to help expel dampness, descend Qi downwards, break up food stagnation, calm the Liver to reduce muscle spasms or abdominal pain, and regulate the rate of digestion and absorption to regulate bowel movements.
