Cleansing these can be very beneficial but it is important to be aware of the possible herxheimer symptoms during a cleanse. Herx symptoms are die off reactions. During cleanses parasites and bacteria are dying off, and releasing neurotoxins, and toxins. These toxins enter the tissue cells, then go into the lymphatic system which helps filter your body's wastes. From there they head to your other drainage organs. Some detox organs can be blocked, which is why our formula helps to cleanse the lymphatic system and organs to prevent any blockage. If there is blockage, there is nowhere for these toxins to go. Herx reactions can be fatigue, swelling, increased GI upset, respiratory symptoms, and skin problems, itching, rashes or skin sores. Toxins can leave your body through the skin which can cause temporary flare ups. How your horse manages these cleanses will depend on the levels of parasites or bacteria they have in their body, and will also depend on their cellular energy.
